Q:

How are Adeo Screens assembled and cleaned?

A:

All Adeo screens are delivered with a multilingual operational booklet. Roll-up screens are equipped with a kit of brackets which allows both wall and ceiling fixing, making their use easier and more flexible. After being assembled these screens can be easily moved sideways. The quality of the materials with which Adeo produce their screens permits to keep the high functional and aesthetic features unchanged over time, without the need of particular maintenance. To clean the projection surface is enough to use a non-aggressive neutral detergent, whereas to clean the metallic parts (we recommend you always disconnect the electric screens before any operation!) a soft cloth and a neutral soap are all you need. In any case to clean the screen it is recommended not to use aggressive detergents, petrol and its sub-products or diluents.
For further information you can download HERE the PDF-files of the operational booklets for the Adeo screens.

Q:

Installation of optional radio controls

A:Adeo electrical screens can be equipped with optional radio remote controls.
It is possible to choose between two options:
  • A 433.33 MHz standard radio remote control, composed of a receiver and a transmitter (available upon request also to control simultaneously 2 different screens), which can be purchased and installed separately from the screen so as to guarantee the maximum flexibility.
  • Integrated radio remote control, composed of a 433.92 MHz transmitter (with a more elegant design) and of a motor equipped with an integrated receiver: it is necessary to buy it together with the screen, which has to be equipped with a particular driving unit.
For the installation and the necessary connections please look at the PDF-files associated with this link

Q:Integration of Adeo Electric Screens with control room systems
A:Adeo screens can be easily integrated with other electronic present in a room, such as the control room systems equipments. A new accessory which integrates the radio remote control, the receiver for infrared control and a device to connect the screen with the 12 volt output that is found in some models of video projectors (so that curtain rolls down and up when the video projector is switched on or off will be available). It will be offered only for the electric screens equipped with a standard motor and not for those equipped with an integrated radio unit. For further technical details please contact our office.

Q:Adjustment ofthe "stroke": avoid "Dyi"
A:Adeo electric roll-up screens are adjusted by technical staff during the assembling phase. Therefore they do not need further adjustments by the customers. We remind you that the slots on the cases made to reach the adjustment of the strokes are covered by the warranty seal: its breakage entails the loss of the warranty cover. Please be reminded that for the Tensio screens, equipped with a lateral stretching system of the projection surface, an adjustment of the stroke different from the one set up during the assembly brings about the loss of the efficacy of the tension, thus causing a possible imperfect planarity of the curtain. Should you need to adjust the stroke of an electrical screen please get in touch with our office.

Q:Malfunctioning of the electrical screen
A:Once the installation has been completed, if the electrical screen does not function or if it functions haphazardly following points need to be checked:
  • The connection of the electric cables coming out of the screen and going into the switch or the remote control has been carried out properly.
  • There is tension in the power supply network.
  • The voltage is the one prescribed by the manufacturer of the motor: 220/230Volt – 50 Hz.
  • If the screen is equipped with a remote control, verify if the batteries of the transmitter are loaded.

Q:Maintenance of the elastic bands of frame screens
A:The elastic bands for the anchorage and fixing of the projection surface to its frame (Frame and Plano screens) are common elastic bands on sale at retailers of accessories and plastic materials. This makes their replacement quick and inexpensive. We remind that each Adeo frame screen is delivered with extra elastic bands.

Q:Solutions to planarity problems
A:Roll-up screens. Although each screen is inspected and tested against the quality parameters before being packed it may sometimes happen that, once unpacked, the roll-up screens show some planarity flaws: vertical “waves” may appear near the bottom and the central part of the projection surface. You can try to solve this problem increasing the horizontal tension of the projection surface coinciding with the low-bar. To do this take out the plastic side covers of the low-bar (caution, they are delicate!), take out the low-bar itself (being careful not to cut the curtain, the inner part of the low-bar may cause or injuries) and stretch the surface further. Then proceed in the reverse way to insert the backcloth and the side covers. Frame screens. In this case the problem could be caused by a wrong fixing of the projection surface to the frame. Therefore we suggest to disassemble the curtain and to fix it again, placing at even distance the metal tabs to which the curtain has to be anchored through the elastic bands. We recommend you start from the four corners.

Q:The warranty of the Adeo Screens
A:Each Adeo screen is guaranteed for 24 months, the electric motor is covered by an autonomous warranty of 5 years. For any technical problems please get in touch with your reseller or directly with our office to receive the necessary help and information. The details on the warranty validity as well as the procedure to follow in the event that the screen has to be returned to Adeo for inspection and repair are thoroughly described in the warranty document.
